high or low? how about both...

so, for christmas, i got these lovely boots...



i've worn them maybe fifteen times since i got them, and i love them
or at least, i did until the heel broke off today.
and then i had to wait an hour for a bus.
in the rain.

I hate having to take my shoes to be mended... and getting a pricy bill... ouch! Love the bow detail on the boots though!

I'm sorry! I haven't had such an emergency but I did have the thong part of a sandal rip out of the sole once...

Isn't it always the most-loved pieces which seem to break on you?

I hate when that happens to shoes which I love to wear. Those boots are lovely, definitely deserve fixing.

I have those boots! It never occurred to me to turn the tops down. Hope you can get them fixed soon and that the heel doesn't come off mine!
